The full moon is tomorrow.
Nothing like waiting to do your homework until the very last minute!
Tomorrow’s full moon is the Strawberry Moon. It is at its most full at about 8 pm.

We welcome Eve, ace technician extraordinaire, arriving from California where she did her training to become a certified veterinary technician. She spent her childhood in Alaska. Her boyfriend has her into body building. She can lift 180 pounds!!!
We now have a certified veterinary technician on staff every day we are open!
These women have two years of additional training allowing them to induce and maintain anesthesia under the direction of a veterinarian. The only thing they can’t do is diagnose, prescribe medication, or perform surgery. I hope to use both my technicians to the fullness of their abilities making my job easier and theirs more rewarding!
Sydnee recently celebrated her 21st birthday! We took her to Perks and Corks in Westerly to celebrate. Perks and Corks serves martinis, a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches, and a few appetizers. When I heard about it from my daughter, I thought it was the oddest menu but I LOVE their chai martini with a side of hummus!
Dr Mo who sees all the litter critters that aren’t dogs and cats is joining us now on Thursday mornings and we can locate him anywhere in Rhode Island Mon – Fri if your little critter needs him on other days!
A big thank you to Dr Dan Simpson who continues to work on Tuesdays this summer and is covering for me (using his wealth of experience in medicine and surgery) when I need to be away. On Tuesday I returned from visiting my parents. They are 80 and 85 and not in the best of health.

That last stanza makes me think of all our pets and how lucky we are to have them healthy and here with us.
